      Great company - not the most thrilling role but great stepping stone

      Pros

      Fantastic company culture and benefits Helpful teammates and leadership Exciting and fast growing industry Fun to work for such a highly acclaimed company

      Cons

      The BDR role is a grind and it's not the most fun day-to-day. The perks of the company and the people helped, but if you do not want to go into the Account Exec role or Customer Success role, I wouldn't suggest doing the BDR role. Very low base compensation - not realistic to hit the OTE that they say in the interview process.

      - Amazing coworkers that have a great combination of a results-oriented mindset and a relaxed, low-stress vibe - Interesting technical challenges and a willingness to try out new technologies and approaches to tackle them - Rapid career growth when you know what you want and go for it

      Cons

      - Free lunches still only 1 day/week (it would be great if they could be up to 3 days/week T-Th!)

      Pros

      Everything about working for Braze is a 'pro'. I have been here for about 2.5 years at this point, and I have never worked for a better company. Everyone at Braze is incredibly intelligent, very nice and approachable. This is the first company I have worked at, where the founders are still involved as much as Bill and Jon are here (in a very good way). As part of the Braze Security Team, we are given an opportunity to secure systems used by billions of people a day and it really makes you feel like your making a difference in securing so many peoples information.

      Cons

      The only downside to working for Braze is that I am fully remote, so I dont get to do many of the in office events. Everything else about working for Braze is amazing.
