Pros

I have a supportive manager and work with a great team. There is strong executive leadership within Marketing and broader C-Suite with clear goals and vision. I joined because I felt like the company was on a strong path with a lot of opportunity ahead, and I still feel that way. I'm excited to see what the next 2-3 years holds.

Cons

Workload/hours can be demanding generally, and it is challenging to work globally across so many different time zones and countries when you have dependencies on each other but little overlap in working hours.

Great product + great team in a very competitive market - product is great and lots of innovation - customer stories/use cases are awesome, amazing ideas on creative execution as a marketer myself - founders/leaders are super sharp and are passionate about market and company culture - marketing team has some incredibly talented people

Cons

Typical growing pains for company of this size/maturity - processes need to be right-sized (some are too rigid, some places they don't exist) - some thrash from juggling many priorities; opportunity to do fewer things, better

Great events. The office space is great.

Cons

It's a US HQ company and it shows. People are hired and fired easily, especially if they have an opinion that might not always match leaders'. People are very rarely recognised for the actual work they do. It's fast paced and can be hard to strike a work life balance sometimes. This is even more so if you are outside the US as you are working your own hours and also matching US hours during busy periods. Direction from leadership is almost always inconsistent. The list goes on.
