Pros

In my four years with Alliance Data, I can confidently say that these have been the best for years of my 18 year career. This organization has given me numerous opportunities to grow and develop as a person and a professional. I have an outstanding leader who continues to challenge me and wants me to be successful. Change is in evitable and it helps us grow if we are open to embracing it. I appreciate an organization who isn’t willing to stay stagnant and is open to change. I’m excited for our global growth! It will allow us to maximize talent and have associates with skill sets we’ve never had before to help drive us forward.

Cons

Some leaders and associates resistant change and it hurts the organization. If our leaders aren’t willing to push the teams to do things differently, we won’t be successful.

Alliance Data company review

Pros

Gave the impression of wanting to improve internal talent, which was also a lie, underpaid employees in key areas such as Information Security and Application development.

Cons

With no warning whatsoever, upper management laid off over 300 people with no explanation given. Their goal is to expand their foreign office so they can just outsource anyone in the States who works for them. Management gives no direction or feedback about what team members should be doing. Stock has gone consistently down since the new CEO took over, as well as underpaying people in critical areas. If you want somewhere that values work you do and won't dump you office for the sake of the bottom line at the first opportunity, then work elsewhere.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. Alliance Data recently made the difficult but necessary decision to eliminate approximately 300 positions across our cards services business. This decision will ensure we are a more appropriately sized and structured organization, as part of our ongoing effort to streamline and simplify our business model.
