Pros

Bread was a good company to work for. They had amazing benefits, good support from management, and the best work/life balance I've ever received. However, in my department as a collections associate, it was hard to meet monthly quotas. You have to really be on your Ps and Qs to try and make enough money. If you don't meet your monthly quotas, eventually they will fire you. But they give you plenty of chances before that happens.

Cons

The only con I can really remember is the management sometimes switched too often. I worked there for a year and a half and had probably 3 different supervisors in that time. They don't get fired, they will just move your team around.

Pros

The Customer Service representees were top notch professionals. Wonderful work life balance that is important if you have a family. Pay was higher than most jobs in the industry here. Level up - Gamefication was the answer to motivating and training employees.

Cons

This company uses numbers to rate all employees. I was there a decade and was never able to advance because of their number system. I felt like I was treated like a child that was never fully trusted. I hope that this company uses Gamification with Level up. The Level Up platform is under used at Bread Financial. This program has the ablitiy to made learning and training fun. I wish this company would use this program to train for leadership. Have Linked in trainings and give incentives to go into management. Level Up could also be used to motivate employees positively. Bread Financial sees Level Up as a same platform- Level up could train and evaluate your employees. Sadly, this company Likes numerical results- and will automate in the future. PLEASE, Level Up and Bread would be industry Leaders!
