We'd encourage you to get connected to The Development Community Teams Channel to get connected with resources for setting some career goals, refilling your tank, and setting a more directed path for yourself. We want you to develop and grow within your role or to other roles in the organization as internal mobility is something we highly value. Let's get you connected with the right resources!

Thanks for sharing that you enjoyed going to work every day -- that speaks volumes! We do our annual reviews each year and do our merit increases and bonus payouts on an annual basis with quick turn-around between end-of-year numbers and having those increases show up in your paycheck by February!

Pros

The working environment is professional and productive. Room for advancement is there if you prove that you’re able to take on the additional responsibility.

Cons

Receiving a promotion takes time, which is fine by me. I’d rather work for an employer that promotes people on a merit basis rather than handing out promotions to favorites.

You make some valid points here and we appreciate you sharing them! Sometimes it does take time to establish yourself in a new company, make an impact, and find the next stepping stone for your career. We definitely make strategic promotions based on merits rather than favoritism. Thanks for joining the team and sharing your experience with others.
