      Their mission and purpose is good!

      Cons

      Very poor treatment of employees. They seem to forget that the employees are the heart of the organization. Upper management seems to have lost their way and they don't keep the mission in mind. Little to no support from upper management.

      Pros

      Helping people with Type 1 Diabetes. Noble cause. Great values. Staff are wonderful and care about the mission. Proud to be working for such a great cause. Inspires hope.

      Cons

      Feels like working on the Titanic. Constant turmoil. No career growth or any kind of job security. Depressing. Bonus program is an insulting joke - better put these tiny/zero amounts toward the mission and quit all the hype. Lots of people getting fired all the time - revolving door. CEOs don't last very long either. Staff always one mistake away from being fired. Senior management really does not care about you. Toxic.

      The mission. The families. The cause.

      Cons

      Everything else. Its a mess of an organization that doesn't have strong enough leadership or an innovative vision for the future. They are still working like they did 40 years ago and there is no sign that anyone on the leadership team is going to change this. The board is delusional to think that the CEO is going to help and the employees are taking advantage of their ignorance. Middle management is often abused and the staff do whatever they want with no accountability. Its a culture of turmoil and you'd be cautioned to stay clear.
