      Great people to work with and great volunteer base.

      Cons

      Hard to get a fair wage if you start with a below average salary. Remote workers can find it hard to justify salary increases for local cost of living if HR doesn't agree.

      Plenty of opportunities to work closely with families in the t1d community and the scientific side of the work. Connection to mission is high.

      Cons

      Pretty too down from the jdrf headquarters with an increasing emphasis on certain programs being applied across the country. Sometimes means your fitting a round peg in a round hole.
