Ive been at JDRF for 2 years now and must say we have a great set of staff that are helpful, intelligent and hard working. Working with the tools provided to us has allowed me to learn and improve communications within donors and other chapters nationwide. there was a digital transformation that occurred within the last few years that has allowed the entire organization to work cohesively together remotely with so much ease . Technology has integrated themselves with departments to provide superior level support especially during covid times. Also amazed on how quickly the tech department provided the tools, support, and education to allow the fundraisers to receive donations via virtual events and virtual tools. JDRF is in great hands knowing we have a strong supportive technology core.

Even though JDRF has been going through a very difficult time over the past few weeks, the staff and volunteers have been able to come together to develop strategies for success in spite of the current crises. We are a family at JDRF and truly are #StrongerTogether. Thanks to our CEO Aaron Kowaski and CTO Sri Mishra for their vision and leadership during this time. Our Technology department has done an outstanding job making our transition to work from home as smooth and seamless as possible. They've given the chapter staff the necessary tech tools such as new laptops, calendar, MS Teams and much more to help us with our every day fundraising efforts and we are seeing many great outcomes because of this. Thank You Aaron, Sri and the rest of our leadership team!

Cons

I think chapters would achieve greater levels of success if they were able to make event/fundraising decisions on a local level instead of relying on the huge National Events team which often slows down chapters.
