Most poorly run organization I've ever seen

Most of the chapter staff were fantastic and there were some extraordinarily dedicated and productive volunteers.

Cons

Senior leadership is absolutely 100% clueless. This is by far the least talented team I have ever worked with. Their only focus is on self-preservation (keeping jobs that pay them vastly more than they are worth). They know little to nothing about the types of fundraising JDRF does and make nothing but poor decisions based on this shocking lack of understanding. Up until very recently, JDRF Canada had no useable CRM. The one they have recently implemented is like all of their other systems - an abysmal failure and massive waste of staff time.

Great Mission but a Bad Corporate Culture

The Mission, The Field Staff, The Field Volunteers and The Research Program are all Super

Cons

The headquarters in New York City could not get its act together. A lot of petty and insecure people who cared more about their titles than the people who actually did the work. All the good people I dealt with at Headquarters were forced out or quickly discovered it was not a nice place to work and got out.
