Mission driven organization doing great work.

Cons

Narrow-minded leadership who doesn’t have the needs of the employees at heart. Top-heavy with little concern for growth and while the C-suite is enjoying cushy jobs, they have little regard for the people doing the hard work. It’s a toxic work environment.

JDRF funds critical research that helps, and will help, so many people

Cons

-JDRF claims to be volunteer focused but what they don't disclose is volunteers are only valued if they have deep pockets. -Ethical boundaries are pushed in order to achieve fundraising goals. -The disconnect of senior leadership to chapters is astounding. -The way in which JDRF handled the covid-19 crisis is embarrassing.

Mission to cure diabetes is noble.

Cons

Toxic culture starting with CEO. Censorship of Glassdoor and social media. Staff can't shine a light on unwanted truths. In employee surveys, we are told to only share 'positive intent'. We can't make decisions for our local markets. Everything goes through a bureaucratic ladder resulting in the wrong decisions, no innovation, and a low performing culture.
