Pros

The people at JDRF are some of the most passionate and talented people you can find. I am proud to be associated with this organization. The benefits that JDRF provides are exceptional, especially for employees who have type 1 diabetes.

Cons

The employee retention is slightly disappointing, but that is to be expected in the non-profit world.

Pros

Helping find a cure for type 1 diabetes- getting to know the families and kids and investing in their health and well-being.

Cons

For DSW chapter specifically: Understaffed, severely underpaid for all the work you do and all the hours you put in, horrible management, high turnover, catty staff, no work-life balance, huge lack of respect in the office.
