At the time, wage was above average for other hospitality/bar jobs in the area Some extra training opportunities My team in particular was quite passionate and fun to work with

Cons

Little opportunity for progression, once you were in a role you were stuck in it for a while even if your location was hiring for duty managers, assistant manager, etc Shifts released on quite short notice instead of the promised 1 month in advance, led to bad work like balance Everyone was always on edge when members of higher/senior management of the company were due to visit, creating a bad working atmosphere
