Pros

Emtec was a former strong contender in this space when they were Emerging Solutions. They had a good management direction. Pay was good.

Cons

Once Emtec took over Emerging Solutions, they had a lack of direction in the Hyperion space, specifically around the HFM/FDM product. Management used to have drive for this. They now aren't focused in this area and clients can tell.

Pros

A great group of people to work with, and interesting customers to deal with. The projects were interesting and frequently challenging.

Cons

The Career path was not a reality, was always interesting work to do, just no upward mobility. Managers did not take the review process seriously.

Pros

Flexibility is available as it is mostly a traveling or remote position for work. Just like any typical PSoft consulting job.

Cons

Not sure they are going to be able to sustain the PSoft practice enough to keep all of the talented consultants around.
