Pros

- Most of the people are great and easy to work with - The work-life balance was good - Work remote - Compensation & benefits were good

Cons

Overall my experience was discouraging. The work environment and leadership on the marketing team were not aligned with progressive management. - There is a lack of culture and connection with people in the company outside of your team. - Marketing leadership is very hands-on and micromanaged, even though they say they don't in the interview process. - Lack of courtesy and professional manner in meetings, the tone can get combative quickly. - When I asked to be included in emails and meetings regarding my job responsibilities, I was told by the Head of Marketing, I was overstepping in my role and that I was not being flexible and agile. - Taking initiative on projects was made out to be a bad thing since it was not overseen or controlled by leadership. - Major lack of diversity in the company, however, I think they are trying to fix that. - The role was more junior than described in the interview process and felt more like a project manager rather than a "lead".

Company in decline

Pros

The product has potential, but management sniffles both the product and the teams. Working from home 100% of the time is great.

Cons

The product is in decline, facing quality problems and through mis-management it's highly likely not going to get any better. Management team is constantly changing direction and is not transparent with either the employees nor customers. There is no company culture (as there used to be a strong culture) and people are merely a cog in the machine.
