Assisting residents with everyday activities was a joy.
Cons
Ughhh, way too many cons... money missing from pay checks.. like hundreds of dollars... never reimbursed. Long hours and no breaks. I worked for four days straight with out one break...
Flexible with schedules and decent pay. You can make up hours you miss. Job is fun and doesn't feel like work, if you get a good client and family. Is a good starting point for a career in mental health.
Cons
The management changeover has expected too much out of employees for only a slight raise. The supervisors will be fine with you and understanding until you make a mistake, depending on who is over you. Your job will be miserable if you get a difficult client and family.
