Low pay, benefits expensive, management isn’t great, lack of training

New CEO destroys careers and ONLY cares about pleasing shareholders and increasing his own pay package. Employees that worked there for years, decades even, were kicked out and replaced by cheaper labor and contractors in a desperate attempt to boost stock value. It’s a landscaping company. The stock will never come close to its overvalued IPO but that doesn’t stop the golden parachuted management from taking a hatchet to the lives of dedicated employees. The career path is very undefined and promotion from within is rare. Ever since the companies that merged to become BrightView did so, the toxicity of the work environment has increased consistently.
