Pros

Hybrid work environment, interesting problems, modern tech stack, exposure to cloud architecture, collaborative coworkers

Cons

YMMV - FTE but have to constantly log and track tasks + hours while being micromanaged on daily basis to squeeze in more velocity - Overworked and understaffed— most of the team have been forced to work extra hours (12 hours/day) and many weekends just to keep up with unrealistic demands - Lack of product roadmap and understanding of timelines (bunch of firedrills, scope creep and throw-away work) - Dead-weight across functional teams where we invested a lot of time on training but they cannot perform but are expected to include them for political reasons - Bringing up any issues in retros will typically get dismissed and not addressed. Has led to minimal participation in each session and members continue to suffer with same issues.

Pros

Pay and benefits are okay. Generally a smart, young leadership team.

Cons

People (read NOT) leaders, are being promoted who do not operate the way a GOOD leader or even manager should. Good employees are becoming disengaged because of this and leaving. People are not being evaluated equally. Promotions are skewed. Internal communication between teams need improvement.

Pros

Met some great people at the organization. Remote.

Cons

Very 'woke' organization. They believe if they tell you enough times about how great the culture is, you'll begin to believe it. Not consistent with their policies across departments. Leader shares political views and claims to not be judgmental when your views are not same or similar...yet, claims to be inclusive. Keep politics out of the work place. Some senior leaders are hanging on until they will be asked to leave. ($$) Can't blame them.
