Pros

There is a lot of appreciation for modern technology and developing quality products. Everyone I worked directly with was wonderful to work with.

Cons

Engineers are often hired and laid off at a moments notice, with no explanation. Lack of value in long tenure and building internal knowledge.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. As noted in our previous response, we are focused on ensuring continuity for our valued, high-performing team members on the technology team and across the company. Our sizeable technology team includes some of our longest tenured team members at Brightway. We recently made minor modifications to our technology roadmap which resulted in transitioning some of the capabilities required to achieve our long term goals. While we encourage the reapplication of skill sets wherever possible, we regret that these changes impacted a couple of our team members – a rare event that is occasionally unavoidable.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We are clear about our long-term growth strategy, have communicated our strategic plans to our employees and agents, and continue to be encouraged by the results we are experiencing. We also recognize that we must be nimble and adjust our implementation plans in response to feedback, marketplace factors, and the rapid pace of innovation. We are confident in our path forward and have staffed all of our teams with our long-term goals in mind and to support continuity for our valued, high-performing team members.

Pros

Brightway is growing tremendously and there are many opportunities. Especially in technology as they are investing in tech across multiple departments.

Cons

Communication and support from executives to lower level management can be lacking. Constant changes that aren’t always communicated well.

While our rapid growth has created tremendous opportunities for our team members, agents and customers, it can present internal communication challenges. In addition to email updates from the executive leadership team, our monthly CEO town hall allows all employees to remain apprised of the latest company developments and our future plans. If you have ideas for how we can better communicate, or support you as a manager, please email hr@brightway.com.
