Pros

Broadcom recently acquired VMware. Some initial impressions: 1) Good RSUs.

Cons

1) No remote work. 2) Culture is nothing compared to VMware.

Pros

Exceptionally Good Stock Options. that’s it.

Cons

Treats employees as slaves, even in harsh covid times forced employees to come to office - only for 2 - 3 months is was 100% WFH. Rest of the time employees were forced to come to office. When other companies were trying to help their employees Broadcom was busy making plans on how to force employees to come to office. Meagre salary hikes, instead Broadcom wants to trade off salary with RSU’s. No respect for employees concerns on health and career.
