Pros

Location Location Location - One of the few companies left in LI that have IT needs. Nice view of golf course. Decent food and pay.

Cons

IT not allowed to do their job. IT management stifles their success with meaningless "sdlc" processes, forms, audits etc. Complete lack of transparency! To suceed at BR you must tell your management what they want to hear (truth not important). H/R is useless and doesnt stick up for the work force. Favoritism (politics), boys club, country club cronies, pay backs for helping CEO start the company, assoicate satisfaction at all time low, jews are hide to find in any high up positions, long work days, no recognition.

Pros

Diverse work force, bagels twice a week, opportunity to work 80 hours a week without being compensated!

Cons

Backstabbing, politics, penny pinching, increase %, bonuses, benefits, tuition reimbursements constantly being reduced. 80 hour work weeks are common and spinning the truth to make yourself look good runs rampart. Software is old and does not satisfy the needs of the users, technology leaders throw up roadblocks and do not support their business owners. The head of IT is only focused on passing his audits and has an entire staff dedicated to scouring forms to ensure check boxes are checked without regard to any other content. Senior leaders worry more about their audit scores than doing their real job. New products are announced to the street that don't exist .
