Pros

Good job to start your career with for experience

Cons

Salaries are bare minimum If new hire salaries are increased to state/city average, they do not raise current employees salary to match new hires. EX. Current employee makes 65k, new hire starting salary is 70k. Current employee will train a new employee who makes more then them. Lower management has no say or power in your salary If you go above and beyond your role you are not accommodated Most likely will fire you at the end of your career no matter how much you expanded or helped the company grow You are treated as a number do not expect anything more.

Pros

Good compensation & benefits. Many opportunities to get into current technologies. Many of your peers, 1st and some 2nd level management will be great folks, but you'll be too busy to build comradery.

Cons

You'll burn out in 3-5 years. Your whole day will quickly fill up with 40-45 of double and triple booked meetings - an this is a software developer. When will you do your work? A few hours at wasted meetings and mostly 20-30 hours extra at nights and weekends. The atmosphere is one of constant mismanagement-driven fire alarms that make Broadridge a pressure cooker. You'll probably have to work weekends at the drop of the hat to support the latest emergency that could have been avoided if management care and invested in constant upkeep. They don't an only address things as they break or right on the brink.
