      Established company Not too big, not to small Good place to develop skills Benefits are still competetive for the industry

      Cons

      Foundry acquisition was a drag both financially and technologically. "If you can't build it, buy it" only works if you're buying something that adds value. Everyone (especially legacy Brocade employees) is still waiting to see what value Foundry added.

      Pros

      Good pay and benefits. Nice, smart people. Company is positioned for long term success.

      Cons

      Very frenetic environment. Unrealistic expectations of how much one can get done at a high level. Apparent infighting between business groups lead by people who appear to care more about their own benefit or personal opinions versus what's best for the business. Currently experiencing a tough transition from a smaller to a larger company.
