Pros

Exposed to multiple aspects of retail/property management. Ability to move departments or even into to the field. Office environment is very laid back. Ability to wear jeans everyday.

Cons

Teams get shuffled around a lot and corporate employees along with those in the field get aggravated working with a new accountant every few months. GGP lets young talent, who are more skilled and produce more work than most of the people who have been in the industry and/or company a long time, walk. I don't quite get why the company doesn't try to retain employees because they will end up hiring them at a later time and paying them a lot more than it would have taken for them to stay. Insurance plan could be better. Bonus is great, but you'll never receive your full bonus.

Pros

Pros are the residents and thats it

Cons

If you're not cool with upper management they will set you up for failure, If you work under Sabrina Dunn, don't make her mad or she will find a way to fire you. Kate Sullivan is a drunk and makes her staff watch her kids. They fire black people quick so be careful. This company is a mafia and every negative comment you see is true, This company will pay you commission but will find ways to take it from you if you're out sick and can't complete the file. They treat housing like they are servants ad made their own entrance so that they don't enter the front door. Don't work for them or you will hate life

Pros

Pay and bonus structure is great for area. Benefits are good.

Cons

Mall teams are constantly stretched thin by losing capital money for basic upkeep. We are expected to run million square foot malls with a AA, PMA, GM, OM and 2 FTs (if you're lucky to get 2!). Now most malls have laid off the AAs. Meanwhile leasing, BD, marketing and accounting departments are corporate have so many people who seem to do absolutely nothing-- why do I have to tell a cash accountant that a check is for monthly rent?? Huge layoffs just happened which left us all reeling in the field and corporate could care less. We're all worried about our malls being sold and losing our bonuses and employee morale has never been lower.
