Pros

Seen some mid level managers to be very good who care about their subordinates. Free snacks and some organized activities are nice to help build relationships with others. Lots of career opportunity because the turnover is high, lots of vacant positions to fill all the time.

Cons

Low pay. You'll be asked to do lots of work and typically end up working over 40h a week. It seems the company rather re-train new employees every year than try and pay more for employees to stick around. Also forced us to be in the office 5 days a week even during peak covid when every other company on earth was having its employees work from home. Sent us home for a bit during the winter cause things were really bad and then made us go back in even when the vaccine was just a few weeks away from being rolled out to young adults. Senior Management is either clueless how toxic things have gotten or they just care more about the dollars going into their pockets. There's more turnover here than there are apple turnovers at Pepperidge Farm.

Pros

Starting pay, benefits, good work/life balance

Cons

Morale devastatingly low. There’s always a “Smartest Man In The Room.” Hint: It’s always the highest ranked middle manager. Unfortunately, “the culture” is so divisive that the fractures will grow greater until something catastrophic happens that brings the whole house down.

Gross third party privacy violations

Pros

It was okay while it was run from Canada.

Cons

Brookfield decided to force all employees to download a third party mobile application onto their personal cell phones. The app in question is a gross violation that has logs key strikes and location. Brookfield is requiring personnel to log in and fill out a questionaire daily - even on weekends, even when one is not scheduled to work without pay. Brookfield is not paying for any costs in access to perform said questionaire.
