      Consists small teams in a large corporate structure. Able to work efficiently and can learn a lot from smart colleagues. Overall offers great career opportunities

      Brookfield shuts down three-year-old hedge fund

      Pros

      Brookfield BHS Advisors was a good company, work environment was really nice, people were very supportive. Brookfield still agreed to pay more than 4 months of pay to employees after they decided to shutdown the hedge fund I was working for. CEO was apologetic and supportive after the announcement.

      Cons

      Unfortunately the parent company Brookfield decided to shutdown shuts down hedge fund not long after I joined. I guess it just a bad timing for me. Even the CEO was caught off guard. There were people who were about to join after the hedge fund closure announcement by Brookfield.
