      Pros

      It's an amazing work environment - the lab is full of brilliant people, and there are a lot of research-related resources.

      Cons

      The lab is a bit isolated, the food services are not very good, and the student/postdoc association is not very active.

      Pros

      -Very positive work environment -Always focused on employee safety -Supportive program for interns to learn more about a career in research -On-site housing provided -Free gym for employees

      Cons

      The campus is very far from most things on Long Island, so there's not much to do besides employer sponsored events. In general, it seems like publications is the primary focus, which can deter people from taking on long projects.

      Pros

      Well structured organization, cutting edge science, updating the infrastructure, on site bank, gym, pool, recreation.

      Cons

      Salary increases have been terrible for the last 5 years (2 years zero increase), many buildings are very old and should be knocked down, due to low salary increases there is low morale among the majority of employees and benefits are continually being reduced or cut, the employee recreation activities are being cut as the Lab is too concerned about liability.
