      Laid back as expected of a library job Time to pursue ones own interests and career path Supervisors are friendly and support staff career advancement outside library system

      Cons

      The pay and workload is good but does not make use of collegiate knowledge unless you specialize in Library Studies allowing for a sense of emptiness and non-fulfillment at times Patrons can vary from rude to super sweet

      Absolutely inefficient and unproductive organization!

      Pros

      Fair benefits, workload, friendly staff and supervisors.

      Cons

      Very low office culture, no professional, personal, and career development, Mundane, uninteresting, non-creative job that does not require even college-level education (only high school diploma). The library is turning into a children's day care center and noisy playground. There is the end of the library.

      Pros

      working with the librarians, supervisors are nice, considerate, flexible and understanding. The patrons can be a mix bag but for the most part, it is great to help them.

      Cons

      So many changes, so many changes. No one knows what to expect next. Morale is extremely low. For the last few years, there has been little room for growth, and with all the changes, one can expect that to remain for quite some time. City Budget cuts.
