Pros

Lots of support, humor and generosity among the employees. Most people are open to conversation, excited about the work they do and happy to be working her doing what they love. There are a few people at the top who don't understand how to help people enjoy their work more, which is unfortunate, but most love it enough to push past that.

Cons

One of the best parts about the organization is its reach to every corner of Brooklyn - this spread out nature, however, makes it hard to communicate to staff and standardize certain aspects of the staffing. There is a perception of favoritism or isolation - which may very well be real and based on this.

benefits, learning experience, one of the best positions to be in at the library overall, one of the more secure jobs out there (unionized)

Cons

little room for growth, pay, low budget, if possible, management should invest in better technology to bring forth better results
