Pros

Being able to work in such a iconic location, which houses such great literary minds. The dress code is laid back, and not stuffy. The area surrounding is such a beautiful area, with Prospect Park, Botanical Gardens and the Brooklyn Museum.

Cons

The pay is low,and not much is done to make the part time staff to feel part of the library as a whole.

Pros

- Project diversity - Different clients and departments to work with

Cons

- Higher ups do not value/respect/understand graphic design & marketing and rejects ideas that would help the library in favor of old and poorly thought-out ideas - Managers don't manage the department(s) well and don't know how to say no to unrealistic demands. Those demands are then piled onto the designers and copywriters in the form of unrealistic deadlines and too much work. Good staff isn't respected and cared for.
