Made an every day difference in pharmaceutical care in the community each day

Pros

Opportunity to expand the pharmacy's to be specialized for the specific community needs.

Cons

Upper Management lacked the importance of the need to evaluate each pharmacy's performance based upon the knowledge of the staff, community satisfaction (written or oral). inventory management, excellent customer service, specialized services to meet communities needs, etc. Some pharmacies fell way below the company standards of basic policies, but all were evaluated under the same expectation evaluation form and received the same positive scores.

Pros

People are great. It is a very social job and I am never bored. Time flies by because I am constantly working on something.

Cons

Pay is minimalist to say the least. Hours aren't the best since the stores are open every day of the year except for Christmas and Easter.

Pros

Have met & worked with great people. I have retired twice & needed to get out at least part time and be around people. After 5 years I still like it, some days are better than others I will admit but I have been blessed with great co-workers, managers and friends through BGC in the Fuel Center at #020.

Cons

0f course every situation has a few cons, mine would be management has their "cons" before they even come to the kiosk and check us out. Have had customers tell me that we run a clean ship, pumps are cleaned, trash is cleared daily, windows are cleaned, area is swept daily, there are towels out, receipt paper in the pumps, clean squeegee water so they really have to hunt for something to write up but they can do it every time.
