Great Culture, and Getting Better Each Year!
Pros
- Organizational attention on culture, work-life, DEI, and leadership - Room for growth - hardly anyone is in the same role they started in, it feels like - because we're 5 business units (product categories) in one, easy to see new opportunities across divisions or departments if not always in the straight line - Stability - average tenure is 10+ years, 115 year old organization, cash-positive during COVID - this is the company you want to be in tough economic times! - Really competitive benefits - I sometimes think the pharmacist made a mistake when they tell me all I owe for my prescription
Cons
It's really difficult and slow to change the direction of such a large ship. It can sometimes feel like change and growth spend more time in the incubator than they do coming to fruition.
