Pros

-Sick Time (as a full time employee, you earn sick time pretty quick) -Union (your job is secure) -Having more days off than other jobs -Don’t feel bad for calling out -Double Time for 4+ Hours on top of your scheduled shift

Cons

- 12 Hour shifts (nice but also suck) - Nurses (most of them treat CNA’s like slaves but the few that don’t are blessings) - Older Patients tend to treat you horribly and may spit, bite, scratch, or hit you. - Other CNAs will verbally fight with you over assignments - Other CNAs typically won’t help you if needed so good luck boosting a 200lb+ Pt alone.
