Pretty Good

Pros

Good place to learn from mature, developed processes and experienced execs. Great benefits and retirement.

Cons

Company was divesting divisions to simplify which understandably limits opportunities. Sometimes it felt if you didn't look out for yourself leadership would take advantage of you more than would be expected.

Good for the "chosen few"

Business Outlook

Pros

Generally good people with a can do attitude. Foster innovation and try to be on the leading edge. A lot of resources. Fun culture although that can be dependent on who you work for.

Cons

Current trend of bringing people in from the outside for select positions and overlooking inside talent. If you aren't in the chosen group- good luck getting promoted. Sometimes will promote people to their own level of incompetence. Rely too much on power point as a mechanism of communicating and reward those who manage up well.
