Supportive Property Manager – The property manager was kind and open to learning, allowing for a positive working relationship. Gained Valuable Experience – The role provided opportunities to develop leasing and training skills.Job Offer to Return – Despite the negative experience, your work was valued enough for them to offer a raise and a better title to come back.
Cons
Lack of Growth Opportunities – There was no clear path for advancement, especially in the area. Poor Maternity Leave Support – Management made excuses and denied an extension despite a doctor’s note. Inflexibility with Medical Accommodations – Even when my doctor provided a light-duty option, they still refused to let me return. Contradictory Company Values – Despite being a women-owned company, they showed little compassion for a working mother recovering from surgery. Unwillingness to Retain Dedicated Employees – Although the property manager later asked me to return with a promotion and raise, they failed to support me when it mattered most.
