Management is friendly at first, but that will change after about 2-3 weeks. Management watches employees 24/7 from the hundreds of cameras around the store and will watch you until you mess up and call you into their office to talk to you about it. They will replay the audio and video of the "incident" so you can see it first hand. VERY creepy. The breaks are short, to non-existent. You get about 10 mins, sometimes less than that, to grab something to eat form the store or warm up food you have brought from home, eat, and be back at your register. Turn-over is very high. Have seen many long term employees fired over things that don't make a ton of sense, have also seen employees fired after only a couple of weeks for beginner mistakes. After being there for about a month I quickly realized there was only a handful of employees that had been there for longer than 6 months. Management makes it a point, that you understand that you are replaceable and that there's tons of people who would gladly take your spot if you were fired. Also, this isn't a huge thing, but there is no employee discount on anything. Everything must be purchased full price, and the receipt must be kept to prove you did not steal. Little to no advancement opportunity. Every employee is under the impression that they will not be there long enough to be considered for a team lead position, and most upper management is hired from the outside.
