Pros

Decent pay, meet lots of diverse people, good gas prices

Cons

Self absorbed managers, sometimes idiot co-workers, terrible time management, basically just a poisonous environment that deserves more heat than it gets. Additionally, policy changes are not verbally said aloud or alluded to on the new versions of the handbook.

Pros

The pay was really the only appealing factor.

Cons

Management is friendly at first, but that will change after about 2-3 weeks. Management watches employees 24/7 from the hundreds of cameras around the store and will watch you until you mess up and call you into their office to talk to you about it. They will replay the audio and video of the "incident" so you can see it first hand. VERY creepy. The breaks are short, to non-existent. You get about 10 mins, sometimes less than that, to grab something to eat form the store or warm up food you have brought from home, eat, and be back at your register. Turn-over is very high. Have seen many long term employees fired over things that don't make a ton of sense, have also seen employees fired after only a couple of weeks for beginner mistakes. After being there for about a month I quickly realized there was only a handful of employees that had been there for longer than 6 months. Management makes it a point, that you understand that you are replaceable and that there's tons of people who would gladly take your spot if you were fired. Also, this isn't a huge thing, but there is no employee discount on anything. Everything must be purchased full price, and the receipt must be kept to prove you did not steal. Little to no advancement opportunity. Every employee is under the impression that they will not be there long enough to be considered for a team lead position, and most upper management is hired from the outside.

Pros

PTO is in line with the rest of the market

Cons

Where to even begin. Management is Micro-management focused, they make it a point to get you to understand they dont care about you. Clock in 1 minute late? Fired or written up(if they dont hate you). 3 write ups ur fired anyway. Make a mistake? Write up. Management likes to make up random new rules on the spot(even though there is an extensive rule handbook). 5 minute standing breaks, in which they monitor. This means you get 2 minutes to eat, because it takes about 3 minutes to check out and buy your food. Turnover rate is estimated to be about 80%, and that's not including people walking out, just the people that get fired. I've been here a year, nobody I work with is now who I started with a year ago.
