Pros

The money. That was the only positive thing about being a young adult and working there.

Cons

It was, in my experience, the absolute worst job I have ever had. They had given me the title and position of a team lead for three months and never properly compensated me. They watched their employees with cold severity, and fired employees over petty prejudices. I would not recommend working here.

Great place to work

Pros

If you have great customer service skills, then this is the place for you. They have good hours to work, scheduling was great. If I had to take off, it wasn't a problem.

Cons

When you are trained for a cashier position, you are trained not only at the register, but for the bathrooms, samples, and coffee bar. You are used as someone that knows how to do everything. Not a problem, but i would have rather been on the register. Also, you are given a 5 minute or less break to eat, and you have to eat standing at the register.

Pros

The only pro I would say here is the pay. With paying higher than min wage, they lure you in.

Cons

Management is demeaning, honestly do not care about their employees. 8hr shift, you get a 15 min lunch break. That's it. Written up if your one min late, even if you have valid reason. A school bus wrecked in front of me, got written up. I even called and sent pics to my boss to prove, as other employees were even aware. Informed him IF I was late, it would ong be by 5 min as they had to make a detour. Got written up. We had woman's shelters and homeless shelters come in asking for donations of the food that expired the day of, or the out of season clothes, such as 4th of July bucee shirts. I heard them even state they could sign paperwork waiving of any liability if something was to happen. Management stated they wouldn't. The food was then thrown out and the clothes, as a manger told me, " have to be destroyed and thrown away." I was fired after my family friends daughter passed away unexpectedly. I asked to leave as I needed to go be with my family and the family whom has the loss. Word for word, my boss stated " even if you leave, your problems will be here tomorrow."I hated this place but only stayed as I needed the money. The day I was fired due to being a min late was the best moment I had with that company.
