Pros
I was very happy during my time working at Build-A-Bear! It was a great opportunity in retail. Working with children is very rewarding, and being able to make a child happy by the work you are doing is amazing. You will make some amazing experiences and memories at this place. This would make a great summer job or first retail job for people looking to work with children.
Cons
I'm sure every experience is different, but of course, this job is retail work. You are going to have your nasty customers, so it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Also, I don't know if salary increased since I was last there, but I was making close to minimum wage as a Sales Lead during the pandemic, so that should definitely be improved.
