Pros

Extremely self-rewarding Working with children is great Gives you a lot of skills such as till training and interaction with guests; BAB are very particular about guest experience which is so useful as a lot of other companies want people with experience in working with members of the public. You can have fun with it. Lovely to know you have made a child/adults day. Excellent relationships between bear-builders and management.

Cons

The pay isn't the best for what you are required to do. Constantly have to have a smile on your face and energy levels high which is no fun whilst hungover! Can get very busy and stressful at busy times of the year so you're always kept on your toes. You can never predict just how busy the store will be. At times, can feel like you're doing way too much for the amount you get paid.

Pros

There is a great work/life balance and understanding that people have a life outside of their job. They are very flexible with schedules where I work. While they are a business and the goal is to be profitable, I feel they do not do it at the expense of employees. They understand that the employees are their most valuable asset.

Cons

The health insurance coverage is good but not stellar. Would like to see the cost share a little better. The dental and vision insurance are really really expensive for what they cover.

Pros

Always flexible with schedules, tried to give you the hours you needed and wanted, the experience of making a child's day, options for moving up in the company relatively quickly.

Cons

If your stores management is bad you will have a bad experience. They are what makes or breaks a babw workshop
