Pros

There is a very fun environment here, between both staff and customers alike. The pay is competitive, and the benefits are great. You can tell this company loves its employees and its guests.

Cons

It's a retail job, so there isn't as much room to work your way up unless you are really good and/or have years of experience, like all retail jobs.

Pros

Fast paced, ethical company, rewarding job. good relationship between staff and management. Managers seem to go the extra mile to reward staff and encourage them to do a good job

Cons

Can be stressful, especially at Christmas etc as it is very fast paced. Often not enough hours offered to staff. there is not much opportunity to move up in the company

Pros

if you love working with children, this is pretty perfect. depending on the season, christmas being our busiest obviously, you can get decent hours (mostly part time) and that is when the work is quick. pays just slightly above minimum wage (depending on the store). easy job if you like to move around and do things instead of just sitting all day.

Cons

a lot of the times, it is pretty dead. also, the selling strategy is shitty. you're selling to the kids who is not in charge of the money and the parents look like the bad guy because they are the ones that have to say yes or no. no room for advancement. management is a hit or miss...you get some good or bad depending on the store. fact is though that you don't need a degree to be in management here so their management skills comes down from past management which, again, could be bad (and I have seen bad). Hours will be cut during dead times and it is more often than not. Since mostly women work here, the environment is extremely catty at times.
