Pros

The other employees are fun to spend time with. Raises are given in a fair manner to everyone. Fun atmosphere because there is constantly something going on.

Cons

Few bonuses or perks. The days can get long with few breaks. Dealing with parents who get upset easily is sometimes worse than dealing with the kids.

Pros

Flexible on working hours, at least at the store i worked at. A great management team will make or break the experience at build-a-bar

Cons

Pay is horrible compared to other employers and for the amount of work that is required. It is also very hard to get promoted.

Pros

Great place to learn how to interact with customers

Cons

It is not as easy as it looks. You are trained to ensure the customer is involved and that takes a lot of energy
