Pros

Work from home Non demanding

Cons

I Was hired by a contractor agency called madaincorp and then terminated after 3 weeks. Reason being: unfortunate turn of events, whatever that means. good feedback was given on the last day. A particular higher-up was so overbearing and self centered. Can't stop talking about how self aware and intelligent he is. Keeps trying to life coach you. The red flags of the particular higher-up: - keeps mentioning he's your boss - Keeps talking about himself in each and every meeting - Calls with him are 2-4 hours long - Keeps offering unsolicited advice and life lessons and stories each and every day for 4 straight hours I kid you not - is contradicting (tells you not to smoke on calls while smoking himself) - Gives inaccurate product training (confirmed anonymously) - Ignores your messages then tells you you're not engaging - Keeps referring to black people as THE N-word while communicating in Arabic - Gossips on other employees and badmouths them and asks us of our opinion on them - Is extremely overbearing, keeps saying he wants to help in our personal life. The red flags of the company: - Expect to be catfished, the job description is different to your actual responsibilities - Departments are not in sync and you will be pingpong'd around to get license keys - Different departments follow different processes leading to chaos - CEO is nowhere to be seen - Extremely high turnover of employees - they will ask you to lie to actual buildfire employees by telling them you're an employee rather than a contractor - They don't respect your contract. Per contract a 30 day notice is required which they refused to pay. keep in mind probation was not discussed nor stated anywhere. - the hypocrisy lies in the fact that you will be asked to respect the contract by not contacting their customers (not that I would have) while they're ok with breaching the contract for their own benefit. What's funny is I was told during the interview they don't want me to leave after a couple of months for another job as it would be a waste of investment and training. But it's totally cool for them to waste my time and other offers I had on the table. for reference they offered 2100 USD /month for a project manager position.
