Pros

Can be fun times where shifts go fast....lots of young people around eighteen ish around... everyoone has each others back when there are difficult customers - people you work with can make up for this

Cons

low wage (MINIMUM 3.72 an hour under 18s) not worth the shifts...shifts change each week so hard to make plans....customers who moan about how slow service is...unconsiderate management

Pros

Very sociable and great when you get on with everyone, job varies from day to day so not always boring, work hard and you will get promoted! generally easy for time off

Cons

everything depends on how lazy your restaurant manager is and corresponding management team. I've worked in many different stores and each had their own way about things start on zero hour contract and can be hard to prove your worth when all of your starting shifts are just a few hours on dining area
