Leadership is out of touch and disorganized. When COVID hit, the CEO refused to take it seriously and kept trying to get people back in the office. He could not accept that we could be productive at home, so the micromanaging began. Constant meetings to ‘touch base’ and go over what was ‘top of mind’ that included every person in the company. Instead of wasting people’s time, try trusting them to do the job you hired them for. No one cares about virtual happy hour. It’s a boomer-run agency and it shows.

People at the top reap the benefits when things are good, but everyone else below them is blamed when things go awry. There is a complete disregard to anything involving company structure, organization, transparency and an overall clear sense of direction. Management loves to "dangle the carrot" but sets you up to fail along the way. BURKE is not an viable, functioning agency, it's a place where people go and realize the grass is not greener on the other side.
