Worst work environment I've ever been in

Pros

Co-workers were great, until they were let go or left

Poor job flow, unrefined recruiting platform, only had zip recruiter for posting jobs, no other tools to help find candidates, lots of talk around what to do to help but then never followed through, easier to berate and belittle employees into fear of losing their job, Extremely poor motivation. Being reprimanded in front of all your co workers, is not motivation, it is humiliation. I have never worked for an owner that was so condescending, believing everything she said was worth listening to, regardless of the fairness or decency of the comments. Would have reported her to HR, if there was any, but she was the one you would report it to, so why bother? Those that I felt were good people, ended up being copies of her, in the end, so it was just painful to wake up and go to work in the morning. Your opinion, while heard, was belittled or talked down to, if it didn't fit into a perfect little box. I eventually felt the anxiety of working there wasn't worth the salary *which was NOT market yielding* that I was given and left. I truly do not have one good thing to say about my experience there.

It took us a year to respond to this, as we honestly thought this was written by a competitor; and genuinely can't relate to the person described in your review. We have been told by many that we have created a thoughtful, caring, and generous environment that gives everyone an opportunity to grow. The owners have not had any recruiters reporting directly to them for many years. If this is a valid employee who saw this as described I am genuinely sorry and sincerely apologize! We strongly encourage you to contact us so we can better understand what you personally experienced to make you feel this way. It's been a year, yet reading this is extremely bothersome, so please give me a call so we can apologize.

Employer of Choice , and investing in being a leader of the "New Norm" in IT & Engineering Staffing

*Recruiting Mentor/Mentee Program. *Prestigious Clients. *A wealth of knowledge in IT & Engineering staffing. *At least once a week some sort of team-building experience. *Beautiful office, with Large TV's, unlimited snacks, and colors that motivate you each morning you walk in the door. *Excellent Addison Location *Way ahead of the curve when it came to and comes to Covid-19 protocols. *An environment of constant learning, real-time feedback, and transparency. *Great technology given to each employee and always open to new ideas. *Constant collaboration between all roles and departments. **Like many industries Staffing can be challenging and is vulnerable to things outside a company or individual's control. BCS decided to use the pandemic to reinvest in the company, re-brand, and grow the internal team. As organizations recover and need Top IT & Engineering talent, BCS is and will be ready to serve them. *Adapted to more of a flexible work environment, work anywhere in the office, some remote **Depending on your role** *Lunch and Learns provided frequently. *Several different opportunities for career development, and a big emphasis on personal development. *BCS has overcome several recessions and comes out smarter, stronger than competitors.

Cons

*One time someone ordered some very disappointing coffee in the break room, however, it was quickly resolved.
