Pros

The pay and the ability to be remote

Cons

As someone else stated in Glassdoor review, you WILL need therapy after you leave this job. This same person pointed out that they will brag about having no layoffs, but this is misleading. They put most of my team on "PIPs," gave us zero direction on how to improve, and then let us all go. They did not backfill our positions. In other words, they came up with a reason other than laying us off to lay us off, to keep their precious reputation of no layoffs. In the meanwhile, the pressure cooker of "busy season" took a toll on my mental health each year. For four months out of the year, I told my friends and family to not make plans with me. I would wake up, stumble from my bed to my home office, work for anywhere from 10-14 hours, stumble back to my bedroom to decompress for a couple of hours before waking up to do it all over again. As you can expect, the quality of work produced in that time was not great. So then I had clients yelling at me and managers chastising me. When I brought up the schedule and asked for resources, for help, for anything, I was told that was just the way things are. After 3 years of this, my mind finally broke, and I had to seek out professional help. Do not let this place suck your soul or mental health. They will just discard you after they have sucked you dry. The pay is not worth it, and the benefits are subpart for a place that works in ben admin.

Pros

From top execs down to my direct leader, there’s the sense that they really care about us as people and are just great people to work for and with. The work is fun and challenging. We have lots of top clients. Feel like we’re on the forefront of technologies like AI. We get to work 100% remotely and are trusted to get our work done. No micromanaging. No set PTO, we can just take whatever time we need. Very grateful to have found this company and feel privileged to work here.

Cons

Not enough work-life balance during busy “season,” which for my team can stretch from July to November. That’s a long stretch of time to be working 50-hour weeks+. Salary and benefits are pretty good but not quite as good as similar companies.
