      Pros

      -excellent starting experience if college student in health care -paid training -flexible-ish -supervision can be great if you get it -great covid policies for protection between clients and providers (but no $ compensation) -if you want a straight gateway into starting a BCBA program within 6 months they have amazing opportunities

      Cons

      -out of luck if a client cancels - no $ compensation -BCBAs are overworked so if you show competence you are given more responsibility than what is preferred -Supervision is sporadic (fine) but when you have issues that need immediate attention it can take some time to get them addressed -I wish there was more support for RBTs that need help with in-home sessions (i.e. lesson planning, how to maintain engagement, etc.) -you get zero benefits if part-time and PT probably make up 80% of staff. No PTO, no healthcare/vision/dental/ no 401K matching. This is not the job for long-term employees and why do they want to run that model? We are expected to create relationships with families but they don't want to keep their employees long-term?
