Pros

I do not know of any.

Cons

I felt profoundly uncomfortable being expected to perform and to supervise others in interventions I was not competent in. Do not make me do interventions outside my scope of competence without proper supervision.

No RBT or BCBA should ever be asked to operate outside their scope of competence. Butterfly Effects takes the BACB code of ethics very seriously and adheres to section 1.05 of the BACB Code of Ethics “Practicing within Scope of Competence”. Our clinical leadership team is very experienced and committed to client progress. We would have gladly provided additional consultation, training, or mentoring to support your efforts. Butterfly Effects also has an ethics hotline available to employees and families to report and resolve any perceived ethical violation. I wish you would have given us a chance.
