Pros

It was amazing to see the change made in my clients and their parents lives. It truly was fulfilling work. My first three years, I had an amazing boss that not only help me hone my skills as an RBT, but also trusted and trained me to do her role!

Cons

The RBT's mainly implement treatment plans and receive less than comparable pay. If client's canceled you did not get paid, due to insurance based pay. When COVID happened, my pay became inconsistent and I had no support from corporate. There were no client home screenings, which led to RBTs sent alone in unsafe environments. The only career opportunities you had is if you wanted to become a behavioral analyst.

Hello, Thank you for the review. We conduct regular pay assessment across all our markets. We are actually one of the stronger payer in LA. When we received a Medicaid rate increase in 2022, the first thing we did was increase the tech training rate and clinical rate. Covid was a difficult time for all employers. We did our best to protect children and staff. That's probably why there was much inconsistently during that period, where staff and clients where placed on hold if suspected of being sick. I'm glad that is behind us. Dr. Steve Woolf President
