Pros

Approximately 200 people work here, but it's small enough where you feel you can make a difference. I no longer work there, and I left for a larger company and a job that I thought was better, however, I miss the small company feel of C-4. The people are personable, bright, and are like family. In fact, I still hang out with a bunch of the people that work there. I miss working there, and may one day come back. I got solid experience there learning basically every facet of digital marketing. I didn't get pigeon-holed like other companies. They let me explore different aspects of digital marketing, as I didn't need to stay tied down to only one small part of it. Overall, solid experience there, and would recommend any of my friends to go work there.

Cons

You need to be willing to work hard and most of the managers are young.

Pros

I came to C4 because I wanted to learn digital marketing. I learned digital marketing and so much more. Today I consider myself a true expert in digital marketing and I still learn something new every day. There’s a lot of great stuff happening here. The company has changed so much in the last two years. The new office is awesome and our growing technology stack has made a lot of the repetitious tasks the account team previously had to deal with obsolete. Overall it’s a positive and challenging working environment where you get to be your best day in and day out.

Cons

Obviously it’s not all roses. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the company but there are little quirks that suck too. You can work from home but only sometimes. You have to work here an arbitrary amount of time before you get a full 4 weeks of vacation time (what I had at my last job). They only pay a percentage of your health insurance (I used to have 100% paid benefits). There are some real opinionated people that work here, so if you don't get in with the popular socialites, you're made out to be a "workaholic."

Pros

When you think of the auto space you might think of TV commercials and direct mail but that has changed. Today it’s a competitive market and war is waged on the digital frontier. I help wage that war. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing my clients ranking soar as their competitors flounder. It’s just a great feeling. I am also fortunate to work with really great people every single day. Each day is a new challenge and no two days are alike. I’m constantly using technology and data to help my clients get ahead. There is nothing better than the people I work with.

Cons

I have good clients and I have bad clients. The biggest problem working here are the bad clients. Automotive is a cut-throat industry and your clients have a lot of pressure to perform. They sometimes transfer their pressure on to you. Bad clients don’t listen, think they know everything and yell at you when they make mistakes. They also think TV and Newspaper are the answers to everything. Those types of clients ultimately will never be successful. Management does a good job of knowing when the issue is internal or a client and will have your back but some clients can be downright difficult to manage.
