      If I could give negative stars I would... This place is a revolving door.

      Pros

      Some employees are great to work with.

      Cons

      First off, Management is awful, especially Controller and VP. The way they run things and deal with their employees is the worst. Second, they overwork and underpay employees. If you beg for help time and time again because you can't possibly complete the work of 4 people there response is "What do you want a job that requires no work?" Compensation for all this work is close to nothing and don't ever expect a raise you deserve. You will not be appreciated one bit... (Don't buy into the fake five star reviews that management posted.) Even though they are a family owned company, they do not act like one or believe in team work. They are so condescending and they get off on bringing you down. I would say do yourself a solid favor and pass on any opportunity to work here because it will literally tear every ounce of your well being down.

We strive to provide the necessary training at every level of the organization, and are focused on mentoring our dedicated employees and rewarding hard work with competitive pay and benefits. Many of our employees who are not management have worked here for upward of 10 years, and contribute to a positive corporate atmosphere.

      Pros

      Rasmussen was a great learning environment with many professional challenges and experiences. Individuals are hit and miss, the culture is brutal but so is the line of business. With that being said, they're extremely methodical and systematic with everything they do - from office to field. Upper management micromanages, pushes and have unrealistic expectations but the trade-off is that you learn, the right way and relatively quick if you absorb the information. My experience: do it right, work smart and make margin, they'll leave you alone - "Be The Best"

      Compensation/Benefits; External Training is Limited; Lack of Company Events; Upper management creates a constrained and intimating work environment.

      A great place to learn.

      Pros

      Working at CA Rasmussen has enabled me to learn from different people within the organization. CA Rasmussen’s upper management is open and always willing to help project engineers and interns. I have never been shot down when asking for help. Working with the company has allowed me to learn and grown within the construction industry. CA Rasmussen employees some great superintendents, foreman, and workforce who are willing to go the extra mile. Working here allows you to work on different facets of the industry and you are not confined to just one subject.

      Cons

      Project locations can be spread out and the workload can build up but seeing that it’s construction it is pretty standard.
